NZ Senior World Cup Standard and/or evidence based tracking to achieve World Championship standard in the next 12 months
Application (commitment) and coach endorsement required (attitude, potential)
Quarterly performance tracking and reviews to retain Academy membership
4-6 Athletes

Auckland/Rotorua based programme (Wero/Kaituna)
Designated HP Coaching (IPP support, personal programming, 1 pw on-water coaching)
Subsidised HP water (aligned to Podium sessions)
Gold Academy Curriculum (Nutrition, S&C, Mental Skills, Tech/Tact, Athlete Lifestyle/PD)
Domestic Camps (4-6 camps) & race-day coaching

DECEMBER WERO CAMP - INFO

16th — 18th Dec Podium and Gold Academy only. If you are in Silver or Bronze, you are welcome to get on the water, but there will not be coaching support for you these days.
19th — 22nd December = organised camp for all.
23rd December = not part of the camp, but there is 1 slot available in the morning. All welcome to use.
* Podium + Gold Testing *
There is an expectation that all Podium and Gold Academy paddlers will undertake “Figure-of-8” testing at Totara Park to start the camp.
Options of PM on 15th Dec or AM/lunch on 16th Dec. Please book into a slot on the Googlesheet - max 2 people per slot of 45mins.
* Podium + Gold Meeting *
On Sat 18th, to share info and discuss various aspects of the 2022 season. Time TBC, between sessions.
* Extreme Slalom meeting for all *
On Mon 20th. Led by our very own World Champs medalist Finn Butcher. Rules, tips, tactics, training and equipment. Time TBC, between sessions.
