COMPETITION UPDATE 6.30pm SATURDAY 28 JANUARY
Update regarding Oceania Canoe Slalom Championships January 2023
Saturday 28th January 2023, 6.30pm
CSNZ is advising that the jury has agreed that the competition can commence Sunday 29th January as per the Oceania Final Schedule published at 6.30pm Saturday 28th January.
Please note that the format for the MC1 & WCI has been adjusted, due to entry numbers the semi-final has been cancelled, they will now race 2 heats runs and a final.
The format for the MK1 & WK1 remains unchanged from previously published.
RACE INFORMATION
The 2023 Oceania Championships will serve as an ICF Ranking race as well as one of the 2023 NZ Team Selection events. As per CSNZ 2023 Teams Selection Policy Race 1 (Oceania heats) is a “best of Two” ( athletes have two opportunities to make a single “countable” percentage).
