Strong competition on show at 2023 NZ Secondary School Nationals
Fourteen schools from across the country with boats in tow made their journey to the picturesque Tekapo Whitewater Park for the 2023 national championships. There were a few tense moments for some schools travelling from the North Island with major disruptions to the inter-island ferry service needing flights instead of ferry rides and a convoy of vehicles to transport 30+ boats.
A great week was had by athletes proudly representing their schools across, K1, C1, C2 and Kayak Cross. Congratulations to the following individuals and their schools.
