- Approximately 30-32 hours per week over 5-6 days including Saturday and Sunday
- Coaching and Athlete Development
We are a well-established Canoe Slalom Club with nearly 60 paddlers in our Slalom coaching programme and more than 100 club members. We are seeking a coach to join our club in a full-time coaching position. Role description: - The principal objective is to provide technical coaching for Canoe Slalom Bay of Plenty Incorporated paddlers. This may include novice, intermediate and New Zealand representative and development athletes.
- To support and coach any other emerging athletes
- To provide coach development support to junior coaches
- To work closely with CSBOP coaches including the incumbent coach to ensure a smooth transition between coaches
- To assist with and co-ordinate the running of club race days, camps, and other events
- To assist CSBOP committee with projects relating to growing the club as and when required
- Applicant will attend to their own visa requirements
- Clean driver’s license required
